How to access this lounge
Passengers flying in Business Class on Etihad get complimentary access to this lounge.
You can also pay US$120 to access this lounge for 4 hours but like most other airport lounges, this one is only good when it is free.

The lounge
For a flagship lounge in the airline’s home airport, it was quite underwhelming. Unlike most other airline lounges, this one has low ceiling and there was hardly any natural light in daytime.
It was also really crowded and noisy when I arrived at 2am. The only seats available were those in the dining area.
However, the good news is that Abu Dhabi’s new Midfield Terminal is under construction and is over 90% completed; although it has been hit by multiple delays over the years.
Dining
There were a number of buffet areas offering a good mix of pastries and hot/cold dishes but it was nowhere near as good as what a Qatar Airways Business Class passenger would get at Al Mourjan Business Lounge in Doha.

Bottom line
Etihad’s flagship Business Class Lounge in Abu Dhabi Airport was alright but I would call it the weakest point of my entire Etihad Business Class experience. Can’t wait for the new terminal to be ready!
