Review: Moxy Putrajaya (Queen Golf View)
With the significant gap between the cash and award rates, I don’t see this Marriott Bonvoy sweet spot lasting very long. Take advantage of it while you can!

With the significant gap between the cash and award rates, I don’t see this Marriott Bonvoy sweet spot lasting very long. Take advantage of it while you can!
Beautiful seat, great dining experience. But unfortunately, half the cabin is equipped with poorly-designed seats. Find out which ones to avoid!
A quality Marriott Bonvoy property in central Kuala Lumpur, with a solid club lounge. You’d never guess this hotel is 20 years old!
A generic reverse herringbone seat with generous legroom, due to the foldable entertainment screen.
Great fare available for most of 2024 (incl. school holidays). 30kg checked baggage included.
A standard Plaza Premium lounge with good cleanliness, food and shower facilities. Star Alliance passengers travelling in Business Class can access this lounge.
A low-quality property with plenty of maintenance issues. However, GHA Discovery Titanium members can still receive fair value with the generous upgrade policy.
Good seat, good food and I couldn’t ask for more on a 40-minute flight. This route is convenient for oneworld mileage runs!
Large domestic lounge with modern furnishing and made-to-order food.
This landside lounge is great for a quick meal upon arrival, or before the airline check-in counters open.
Another solid Marriott Bonvoy property in the Kuala Lumpur area, with large rooms and a good club lounge.
This historical hotel built in 1932 provides good happy hour F&B and room upgrades for Elite members but breakfast and service were sub-par.
An old hotel with poor service standards and overall quality. The good news? There is absolutely no need to stay here as this city has other fantastic hotels at a similar price point.
Planned a short trip to Kuala Lumpur as I was pretty close to re-qualifying for Marriott Titanium and Qatar Gold statuses.
Great food and textiles in this spacious Business Class seat which I’m a huge fan of.
From the SouthEast to the Far East and the Middle East; here’s how I planned an itinerary with high-value hotel stays and flights, almost entirely on miles/points.
Nice hotel, but it’s a pity that the building is covered in bricks.
A decent hotel in the Bukit Bintang area, although I prefer The Westin next door. Remember to visit the “secret” Wet Lounge on your next stay!
This newly-rebranded property is a fantastic addition to Marriott Bonvoy’s already-incredible footprint in the area.
An amazing birthday upgrade to the highest room category! Great points value, considering the hotel’s location.
