How to access this lounge
I visited this lounge before my Qatar Airways Business Class flight from Singapore to Doha, before backtracking to Auckland, New Zealand.

Qatar Airways Singapore Premium Lounge
Getting there
Qatar Airways Singapore Premium Lounge is located in Terminal 1 of Singapore Changi Airport. After security, proceed towards Transfer C and head up to the third floor.
You will find The Emirates Lounge and Plaza Premium Lounge in the same area.
General areas
Like most lounges in Singapore Changi Airport, Qatar Airways Singapore Premium Lounge lacks natural light and a view of the apron. There is a small window opening near the bar, for a little bit of natural light during the day and that is all you would get.
The lounge has good furnishing and checks all the right boxes with privacy pods, large shower rooms and universal power ports in the lounging areas.
Shower room
As mentioned above, the lounge has large shower rooms with toilets attached. Reservation wasn’t required during my visit.
Dining
For a Business Class lounge, the dining experience was exceptional. This is consistent with the fantastic in-flight dining experience that Qatar Airways offers to Business Class passengers.
Guests can order food from an à la carte menu and also grab some light bites from the buffet. I do not know any other airline that cares this much about the quality of the menu, presentation and taste. Remember, this lounge is not even in the airline’s home base!
The lounge serves a good selection of white/red wines, cocktails, as well as the following two champagnes:
Here’s the dining menu at Qatar Airways Singapore Premium Lounge:

The buffet spread lacks hot food but items like pastries, fruits, cheeses, salad and cold cuts are beautifully presented.
WiFi speed
The WiFi speed was good for basic internet browsing.

Bottom line
Qatar Airways Singapore Premium Lounge offers an exceptional dining experience.
It’s a pity that Elite members are not recognized here, but that helps prevent over-crowding and a more personalized experience, in a lounge with a capacity of just 85 visitors.
There is no doubt that Qatar Airways Singapore Premium Lounge offers the best Business Class airport lounge experience in Singapore, the home ground of its best-airline-in-the-world rival, Singapore Airlines.
In fact, the dining experience here easily beats Singapore Airlines First Class Lounge and in my opinion, almost matches what The Private Room offers.
“Qatar Airways has already set one industry benchmark with our award-winning Business Class seat, Qsuite, now we are redefining the new standard for business class lounges. We want to ensure that the onground experience offered to our passengers matches our iconic five-star airline experience. As the first Qatar Airways lounge following this design concept, it will serve as a new standard for all our Premium Lounges going forward.”
– Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker
