How to access this lounge
As the Qantas Lounge was still closed during my travel, travellers flying on oneworld airlines were diverted to Strata Lounge.
This lounge is also accessible to Priority Pass members.
Strata Lounge Auckland Airport
Getting there
The lounge is located on the second floor. Look for signs to “Premium lounges” and the escalators between Kate Spade and Adidas retail shops.
On the second floor, you will find Strata Lounge, Qantas Lounge and Emirates Lounge.
Click here for the map of Auckland Airport’s International Terminal.
General areas
The lounge has modern furnishing and is quite spacious, with a great ratio of seats to floor area.
However, the only view available is that of the interior of the airport terminal.
Shower
There are a number of shower rooms available and no prior reservation is required.
There is one shower room that is larger than the others, presumably for guests with limited mobility.
Food & Drinks
There was a small variety of hot food and pastries from the buffet and guests may help themselves to beers, wines and spirits, at no charge.
WiFi speed
The WiFi speed was okay for basic internet browsing.
Top complimentary amenities

Bottom line
Strata Lounge was my only option while flying out of Auckland Airport and it lived up to my expectations.
I tend to appreciate quiet lounges with average food and drinks than chaotic lounges with better F&B options. Besides, I had great dining options onboard Qatar Airways Business Class to look forward to!
