How to access Singapore Airlines SilverKris First Class Lounge
I visited this lounge before my Singapore Airlines First Class flight from Singapore to Jakarta. This segment was a continuation to my Suites Class flight from Frankfurt to Singapore, which arrived one day prior.
Passengers flying in Singapore Airlines/Star Alliance First Class can access this lounge before departure. Eligible passengers are allowed to bring 1 guest, as long as the guest is flying in a Singapore Airlines flight on the same day.
Passengers with Solitaire PPS status can access this lounge regardless of the cabin class that they are flying on, as long as it is with Singapore Airlines or a Star Alliance airline. The same guest policy (+1) applies.

Getting there
The SilverKris First Class Lounge is located on the 3rd floor in Terminal 3, near other Singapore Airlines lounges. You will find escalators to it near Longchamp and Luvenus, after passing through immigration.
General areas
Like the more-exclusive The Private Room, this lounge lacks natural light and runway/apron views but design is modern and elegant with much-welcomed tech-friendly additions like wireless chargers, universal power ports and high-speed USB ports.
Showers and restrooms
Guests may book a shower room in-person.
Bar area
The lounge has a dedicated bar with bartender and barista services. Take note of the operating hours shown below.
Nap room
There are 2 single-occupancy nap rooms in the lounge. Visitors can book one for up to 2 hours.

Dining in SilverKris First Class Lounge
Food is served as a buffet at the following times:
- Breakfast: 5am to 11am
- Lunch: 11am – 6pm
- Dinner: 6pm to 2.30am
After-hours dining?
As my body was still on European time, I arrived at 2.30am and found that there were no food available, other than some muffins. However, a staff member was kind enough to prepare scrambled eggs and pastries for us!
As I was flying Singapore Airlines First Class, I headed over to The Private Room, which opens at 5.30am, for better, à la carte breakfast.

Visitors can help themselves to coffee, tea or soft drinks.

Bottom line
After the completion of lengthy renovation works, Singapore Airlines SilverKris First Class Lounge has finally reopened. Having no natural light and view of the outside world gave me casino vibes instead of First Class luxury.
Like The Private Room, it looks like Star Alliance First Class passengers departing from Singapore’s Changi Airport will have to settle for this, until the new terminal is completed, over a decade from now.
