Singapore Airlines Suites are one of the best (if not the best) First Class seats out there, that is bookable with miles.
This little room in the sky is probably on every mile-chaser‘s wish list, and I can see why!
However, because of its popularity and the small number of aircrafts that come with them, award availability is hard to come by, especially on long haul routes.

Which routes feature Singapore Airlines Suites?
Singapore Airlines Suites can be found in all of the airline’s Airbus A380 aircrafts; and only up to 12 of them are still in service.
This list changes sporadically, but here are the routes that are currently serviced by the airline’s Airbus A380s:

- Singapore – Mumbai
- Singapore – Shanghai
- Singapore – Tokyo

Singapore Airlines Suites Award Availability Outlook
As there are only 72 of these seats around (6 per aircraft), they are constantly in hot demand.
Unfortunately, KrisFlyer Suites (Saver) award rates on certain flights are automatically removed, as soon as they become available (except for that one time). These Suites are also not bookable with other Frequent Flyer Programs (FFPs).

Flexible date search not working properly
singaporeair.com‘s flexible date search has been wonky for over a year now. If you do not see availability on the 7-day period above the search results, it does not mean that the award is unavailable.
Unfortunately, the only workaround is to painfully search date-by-date.
Fly to/from Jakarta for the same price
Travellers may also consider flying to/from Jakarta, with a layover in Singapore, for the same award rate. By including the Jakarta segment, travellers can check out both of Singapore Airlines’ First/Suites Class seats on two different aircrafts, after visiting the city.
