Singapore Airline is running a great (unpublished) Business Class deal for flights from Bangkok to Paris, France.

The deal

With this deal, travellers can book roundtrip Singapore Airlines Business Class flights from Bangkok to Paris for just THB 60,140 (~S$2,340).

These flights usually cost around S$4,000.

Singapore Airlines Business Class seat

For the long haul segment between Singapore and Paris, Singapore Airlines is flying its Boeing 777-300ER aircrafts with its 2013 Business Class seats.

Where to credit?

This Business Class fare books into fare class ‘D’.

You’ll be getting around 30,000 miles with 200% mileage accrual when crediting to Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan.

If you choose to credit them to Singapore Airlines Krisflyer or Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles, you will be getting 125% mileage accrual for a total haul of about 18,800 miles.

I would personally choose to credit the flights to Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan for the following reasons:

• Miles expiry easily extendable with activity
• Ability to buy miles to top up existing balance
• Only costs 25,000 miles to redeem a one-way Japan Airlines Business Class flight to Japan/South Korea.
• Only costs 30,000 miles to redeem roundtrip Japan Airlines Economy Class flights to Japan/South Korea.

However, take note that Mileage Plan is not a transfer partner of any Singapore credit cards.

Why we like this card

Earning 6 miles per dollar for flight bookings (on selected airlines) is fantastic.

With its 3 MPD earn rate on online hotel and flight transactions, this card is also a good backup for online hotel spending once you have maxed out other cards that offer 4 MPD.

Bottom line

This is a great fare for Business Class flight from Southeast Asia to Europe. However, if you are based in Singapore, you will need to position in Bangkok and start the journey there.

Remember to use the right card and shopping portal for a total return of over 38,000 miles and S$62 in cashback!
