  1. The flight has to start from BkK. How does sg based traveller make this work? Can traveller skip the first leg (BKK-SIN) and only board the second leg (SIN-CDG) in sg?

    Reply
    • You can’t skip the first leg and will have to position in BKK to catch the flight. Of course, it will make a lot more sense if you are doing a short Bangkok trip, before catching the flight to SIN and onward to CDG.

      Reply
      • Noted with thanks. How about return leg CDG-SIN, can sg based traveller disembark in sg and forget about the boarding second leg to BKK? Will there be airline penalty for that behaviour?

        Reply
        • It is possible but airlines REALLY don’t like it. There is a chance that they would flag and ban your Krisflyer account.
