Hyatt Privé today launched new offers for many hotels in Asia Pacific.
What is Hyatt Privé?
Hyatt Privé is a luxury hotel program by World of Hyatt that offers special benefits to guests, regardless of status. This is similar to Virtuoso benefits that you can get in non-Hyatt properties.
Hyatt Privé rates are usually slightly more expensive than the lowest rate that you see on hyatt.com but they come with the following added benefits:
- Complimentary daily breakfast for 2 guests
- Complimentary room upgrade
- US$25 to US$100 credit per stay (depending on property)
- Welcome amenity
- Priority early check-in and late check-out

Bottom line
Hyatt Privé benefits are fantastic when the Standard rate of a hotel is not too much higher than the lowest (prepaid) rate.
Although a lot of these countries are still closed to tourist, Hyatt Privé rates are great for speculative bookings as they usually offer free cancellation without prepayment.
As you can only get a one-time property credit per stay, I would only consider properties offering 3rd night free. If I would like to extend my stay in a particular property, I would activate 2-Player Mode to get property credits every 3 nights!
