How to access AMEX The Centurion Lounge Hong Kong?

I visited this lounge prior to my Cathay Pacific Economy Class flight from Hong Kong to Singapore, during my Jeju-Seoul 2023 trip.

Travellers can access this lounge if they hold an American Express Platinum or Centurion charge cards, regardless of class of travel.

Oneworld Sapphire and Emerald members can also gain complimentary access (+1 guest on the same flight), regardless of class of travel.

Getting there

AMEX The Centurion Lounge Hong Kong Airport is located in Terminal 1, on level 7, near Gate 60.

General areas

This fairly small lounge is not enclosed/separated from the terminal. This adds to the “bright and airy” feel, but allows external airport noises (especially from the nearby gates) to come through. There is also a decent view of the apron from the lounge.

However, as there aren’t any closed-off areas, guests who want some quiet time should bring noise-cancelling earphones or earbuds.

Food & Drinks

Food quality is very good with a small variety of protein dishes. Guests can also order cocktails from the bar.

Internet speed

The WiFi speed was good for light web-surfing.
