Air France and KLM are offering promo Premium Economy fares for flights from Singapore to selected European cities.
Fares & Destinations
These “Premium Light” fares include 2x hand baggage (total 12kg) and exclude checked baggage.
Travellers may add a 23kg checked baggage to their booking for about S$94 each way.
DBS cardholders can apply promo code AFKLXDBS24 at the payment page, to receive a S$100 discount on the fares.
Additional note: Thinking of visiting more than 1 country? A multi-city booking is also possible (e.g. Singapore – Milan + Barcelona – Singapore).

Travellers can browse air fares through the calendar view on the airline’s official website.
Is Premium Economy a lot better than Economy?
Well, not a lot. While it is no Business Class, Premium Economy passengers enjoy a slightly better experience, vs Economy. I’d say it is ~20% to 30% better.
And when you are flying 13-14 hours non-stop, it does make a noticeable difference in comfort!
This includes:
- Wider seats
- Better legroom
- Better recline angle
- Calf rest
- Personal arm rests (not shared)
- Better food & drinks selection
- Larger entertainment screen
…as well as SkyPriority benefits like:
- Priority check-in
- Priority boarding
- Priority baggage delivery
Air France/KLM’s Premium Economy seat
Air France recently launched new Premium Economy seats, however, these refitted aircrafts are not flying to/from Singapore just yet.
Air France/KLM’s Premium Economy seats come in a 2-4-2 cabin configuration, with just 3 to 4 rows of seats.
Best cards for Air France/KLM flight bookings
Travellers can also earn over 7,000 miles with this booking, by using the right credit cards.
Get 6 mpd with the UOB Lady’s card (with the Travel category selected, for transactions posted by 31 Mar 2024), and 4 mpd with the other 2 cards. Take note of the monthly caps!
Bottom line
These are good Premium Economy fares for long-haul flights from Singapore to European cities, especially when most airlines charge S$2,000 to S$4,000 for them.
Remember to enter the promo code to receive S$100-off, if you have a DBS/POSB card!
