Error Fare: One-Way Business Class on Air France from Bangkok to Paris for S$679

This error fare is similar to the one I shared a couple of months ago, for flights from Oslo to Singapore.

For the price of Economy Class, travellers can book one-way Business Class flights from Bangkok to Paris.

This is perfect for Asia-based travellers planning to redeem miles for flights from Europe, and looking for a flight to the region.

Travellers can browse air fares easily through the calendar view on Google Flights, before completing the booking on the airline’s official website.

Travellers can find this amazing Business Class fare of S$678.70 almost every day from February 2024 till January 2025.

The biggest drawback is that DBS points earned on this card have an expiry term of just 1 year. With a minimum transfer block of 5,000 points (10,000 miles), cardholders often find themselves with expiring “orphan” points of under 5,000, that can only be redeemed for low-value items like mall/dining vouchers.

Bottom line

This is an amazing error fare for a long-haul flight in Business Class, between Asia and Europe.

As there is a good chance that this is an error fare, it is advisable to defer making firm travel plans for at least the next couple of weeks, as the airline may cancel your booking and issue a refund (currency fluctuations may result in some monetary loss).

Historically, travellers who book error fares for flights in the coming days have a greater success of flying the itinerary (before the airline has time to react).
