5 months after the end of the previous global promotion, World of Hyatt is finally running a new one.

- Valid for stays at all World of Hyatt properties
- Earn a maximum of 60,000 bonus points during the promotion period (US$12,000 gross spend)
- Get double Elite Nights at Inclusive Collection properties (all in North/South America)
How many points will you get with this offer?
World of Hyatt members earn points for qualifying spend excluding taxes/fees.
For paid stays of 2 nights or more, every member will receive 5 additional points per US Dollar. Here’s the total amount of points that members will receive with each status.

Is this a good offer?
Spend-based offers like these are really fair….and boring as there’s no travel-hacky way to take advantage of it, unlike the previous one. And there is no way to earn points on award stays!
It is also not great that members will need to stay at least 2 nights to trigger the bonus points.
Unlike Hilton Honors, World of Hyatt does not run their global offers back-to-back.
Bottom line
After 5 long months, World of Hyatt has brought back its global offer, albeit a boring one.
This offer will not lead me to spending more nights in Hyatt hotels in the coming months. If you are based in Southeast Asia like me, the best way to stay in Hyatt hotels in this region is with points, not cash.
