Flash Deal: Get 20% off selected hotels worldwide on Agoda with HSBC cards

Agoda and HSBC is running a good limited-time offer for HSBC cardholders.

However, this is not as good as the 25% discount offer that I shared last month.

Key points to note

• Discount is capped at S$200 per booking (S$1,000 spending)

Eligible hotels are marked with a “Promo Eligible” label as shown in the screenshot below. Discounts will be automatically applied in the payment page when you have entered your HSBC card details.

I recommend booking with the HSBC Revolution card to get 4 miles per dollar (capped at $1,000 per month) on top of the 20% discount.

Why we like this card

We see the HSBC Revolution as the best credit card in Singapore as it offers a great earn rate of 4 MPD for key spending categories, has a decent cashback option, does not have a minimum spending requirement and does not have an annual fee to worry about!

Is this a good deal?

Getting 6% to 10% discounts in Agoda, Expedia or booking.com is normal. That’s the minimum discount range that you should be getting for your hotel bookings, all year long.

With that in mind, getting 20% instant savings on your hotel bookings is a good deal!
