What benefits to expect when you stay at Hyatt Place Frankfurt Airport as a World of Hyatt Globalist member?

Hyatt Place Frankfurt Airport opened in 2018 with a total of 312 rooms.

This Category 1 World of Hyatt property requires 3,500 to 6,500 points per night for award stays and is one of the best ways to redeem your Hyatt points!

If you do not have Hyatt points, you’ll be happy to know that purchasing the points is cheaper than paying the usual cash rate, regardless of membership status!

Pro tip: Aim for “off-peak” nights to stay in this property for just 3,500 points. The easiest way to find those off-peak nights is by looking at the points calendar.

Arrival

I had booked the base room on points and as a Globalist member recognition, I was upgraded to a Premium King Room with Sofa Bed 3 days before arrival. This is four categories above the base room and is the highest room category in the hotel!

It was a really nice surprise as Hyatt Place properties are not required to offer upgrades, according to the World of Hyatt terms and conditions.

Body wash wasn’t available during my stay, so housekeeping placed a shampoo from a different brand instead. Strange.

Breakfast

Typically, guests staying in Hyatt Place properties outside Europe receive complimentary breakfast, regardless of status. As this Hyatt Place property is located in Europe, guests will only receive the breakfast benefit when it is included in the room rate or with a Globalist status.

Breakfast is served at Zoom Restaurant near the lobby. Food quality was good for a European hotel at this price point.

Bottom line

Hyatt Place Frankfurt Airport is a World of Hyatt sweet spot and often times, it is cheaper to stay with points instead of cash. Location is great to catch an upcoming flight and elite membership recognition is fantastic for the Hyatt Place brand.

Aim for one of those “off-peak” nights to pay as little as 3,500 points!
