What does it mean to earn 2X or 3X points?
Like other hotel loyalty programs, members only earn points on the pre-tax rate of your hotel stays. For that reason, the actual value that you’d get from this offer depends on the taxes and fees imposed in each country/hotel.
With the 7% tax and 10% service fee imposed by most hotels in Singapore, a Diamond member will receive about 13% in value, based on Suitesmile’s valuation of Hilton points.
