Arrival
Upon arrival, we had our temperatures taken and were assisted with our luggages before being directed to the reception.
I had booked the base room and was pre-upgraded to the 1 Bedroom Suite one day before arrival.
Looking at the welcome letter, suite upgrade upon availability is explicitly mentioned as a Titanium member benefit! It is always fantastic when a Select Marriott Bonvoy Brand offers guaranteed upgrades like this. Especially for long stays like mine!
You may remember my review of the beautiful Four Points Kuala Lumpur Chinatown, another Select property that has a similar upgrade policy for Platinum members and above.
As part of the long stay package (min. 7 nights), I also enjoyed complimentary laundry (2 pieces per guest, per day) during my stay.
1 Bedroom Suite
Room 253 is 56sqm / 603sqft in size.
It has modern furnishing which includes a dedicated work desk, which is always valuable for long-staying guests like myself.

Breakfast is complimentary for Platinum members and above and was served as à la carte and assisted buffet at Seminyak Kitchen from 7am to 11am.
Although I was given US$10 vouchers for breakfast, they could be exchanged for full breakfasts.
I had the option of having breakfast sent to my room and went for it throughout my stay. Food quality was very good and delivery was always on time.

This is what made the hotel really special to me. At this price point, I was already amazed by the suite upgrade and in-room breakfast but the hotel wanted to do more!
Every 3 to 4 days, the hotel would send goodies in the form of Hari Raya cookies, keychain, cookies, fruit platter and even a complimentary massage voucher!
Swimming pool
The swimming pool is large for a property of this size.

Bottom line
Without a doubt, this was the stay that gave me the most value up till May 2021.
Definitely check this hotel out the next time you are in Seminyak!
