Turkish Airlines is running great promo (error?) fares for flights departing from Cebu, Philippines.

This deal was originally flagged in FlyerTalk yesterday and was shared by me in Suitesmile Chat Telegram group.

Brilliant minds in the chat group later shared that open jaws and flights arriving in Singapore are possible too, with even cheaper fares! Fares can even be found on peak travel seasons like the December school holidays and Chinese New Year period in Feb 2024.

Where to credit?

As always, visit wheretocredit.com to get a rough idea of the mileage accruals for your fare classes. However, as this website sometimes have inaccurate information, it’s best to double-check on the Frequent Flyer Program’s official page.

These flights will book into fare classes ‘U’ or ‘V’. As much as possible, try to get those on fare class ‘V’, to get higher mileage accrual.

These roundtrip flights have a total flying distance of about 13,500 miles, giving you as much as 5,000 miles (worth US$70)!

Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles: U (25%), V (50%)
Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer: U (0%), V (25%)

Bottom line

These are fantastic fares from SouthEast Asia to Europe that are available during peak travel seasons.

Being able to fly straight back to another SouthEast Asian city on the return leg is a huge plus!

If you are not based in Cebu and do not plan to spend a few days there for a side-trip, take into account the positioning costs that you will incur.

There may be more permutations possible to make this fare even better. Share them in Suitesmile Chat if you find one!
