Germany’s national railway company, Deutsche Bahn, is running a special offer as part of its support package for bus and rail transport affected by rising energy costs.
Key points to note
- Buy the 9-Euro-Ticket (S$13) for unlimited travel throughout Germany in local/regional trains, buses and trams
- Tickets will go on sale from 23 May 2022
- Tickets can be purchased on bahn.com, bahn.de and DB Navigator mobile app
- Ticket is only valid for travel in second class
- Ticket can be purchased for travel in selected calendar month (June, July or August 2022)
- This offer is available to all travellers; just have a valid photo ID while travelling
- Ticket cannot be used on long-distance trains and buses (e.g. IC, EC, ICE)
- Ticket can be used for long distance travel within Germany IF the route is connected by regional trains only
- Ticket can be combined with long-distance train tickets (before/after long-distance train rides)
