How to sign up?
Technically, to qualify, a member must be an “athletic administrator, athlete, or affiliated with a sports entity, sports related company, sports group or event.” Although, from past experiences, no verification will be done and anyone can qualify!
You must also stay 4 nights in a Hilton property within 90 days of signing up. This is better than similar fast track offers in recent years that required 4 stays (instead of 4 nights).
This offer is only redeemable once in a membership lifetime. But IYKYK.
Another key point to note is: “member may keep such status for the calendar year in which the Elite tier was earned and the subsequent calendar year”. This means that if your Fast Track is completed after 31 Dec 2021, you will get to keep the status till Dec 2023! How awesome is that?!

Cheapest way to stay 4 nights?
With Singapore’s upcoming VTL arrangement with Malaysia, Singapore-based travellers can get Hilton Gold status for as low as MYR 468 (S$152)!
That’s how much it costs to spend 4 nights in Hilton Garden Inn Kuala Lumpur Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman South.
Is it a good property?
I’ve actually stayed here for 1 month in 2019. This property is newer than the sister hotel nearby.
The surrounding area is not a nice neighbourhood to walk around in but we felt perfectly safe in the property and used Grabcar as a mode of transport around Kuala Lumpur.
We also heard racing bike noises throughout the night from rooms facing the main road. Definitely request the back-facing rooms for peace and quiet.
Check out the rooftop swimming pool and bar while you’re there!
Bottom line
This is a great opportunity to get Gold benefits (especially free breakfast) in Hilton hotels around the world for the next 2 years.
Because of how easy it is to get this Gold status (even before the pandemic), I do not recommend doing “mattress runs” to maintain it by doing 40 nights or 20 stays a year, in future.
