OCBC 90°N launched as a Mastercard back in 2019 and offered unlimited 4 MPD on overseas spend for a few months.
Today, OCBC has launched a Visa version of the card with, believe it or not, even worse benefits! 🤯
Surprisingly, the Mastercard version, which is already a meh card, will maintain a higher earn rate over the new Visa version.

Cons
- OCBC Travel$ are earned in $5 blocks. You will not receive anything for transactions of less than $5.
- From 16 January 2022, earn only 1 MPD on local spend and 2 MPD on foreign currency spending.
- OCBC Travel$ can only be transferred to Singapore Airlines Krisflyer with no fees.
Bottom line
Nothing much has changed, OCBC and SCB do not seem too interested in offering good rewards/miles cards. Okay, maybe the mildly exciting OCBC Titanium which made it into 5th place in my list of the best online spending cards in Singapore.
Don’t waste your wallet space, get a proper specialized card instead.
