Arrival

Upon arrival, we had our temperatures taken and were assisted with our luggages before being directed to the reception.

I had booked the base Deluxe room and was pre-upgraded to the Executive Suite two days before arrival as a Titanium member.

The room (Executive Suite)

Room 806 is 103sqm / 1108sqft in size.

The unblocked, panoramic view from the room was amazing. I could even see a rice field in the distance.

Best rooms

I usually request for a room on the highest floor possible and it must not be a connecting room (for less noise).

From the floor plan, it looks like most of the rooms on level 8 are suites. Of these, only the even-numbered rooms have the beautiful view showed in this page.

Breakfast

Breakfast is complimentary for Platinum members and above and was served as à la carte and assisted buffet at Tabia restaurant from 6.30 to 1030am. Food quality was very good.

I had the option to have breakfast sent to my room and went for it on my last day.

Other facilities

The infinity pool offers a great view of the jungle. I felt that it was a missed opportunity by tucking the gym in a hidden room without any view.

Bottom line

I enjoyed the beautiful suite, hanging out by the swimming pool and the fantastic view from the room. A friend of mine, a Gold Elite member, checked in on the same day and was offered an upgrade to the Junior suite. This hotel tries their best to upgrade Elite members!
