Alaska Airlines and Fiji Airways are running a promotion that is similar to the one with Qantas last year. With this promotion, you can accumulate a minimum of 16,000 Alaska miles (worth $352) for Economy flights from Singapore to Los Angeles, USA with a free stopover in Nadi, Fiji for $1,200.

Here’s how:

1. Join Alaska Mileage Plan Frequent Flyer Program for free if you do not have an account yet.

2. Register for this “Double miles” promotion.

3. Book your flights by 29 February 2020 and travel by 30 June 2020.

4. Enter your Alaska Airlines membership number during booking.

Your bonus Alaska miles will be credited within 4-6 weeks from the dates of your flights.

If you are flying the above itinerary with no elite status with Alaska Airlines, here’s how your mileage calculations will look like:

SIN-NAN-SIN
Distance: 10,000 miles
Mileage accrual: 5,000 Alaska miles (50% with fare class ‘R’)

NAN-LAX-NAN
Distance: 11,000 miles
Mileage accrual: 11,000 Alaska miles (50% with fare class ‘R’ plus double miles)

Total: 16,000 Alaska miles (worth $352).

With 16,000 miles, you will be able to redeem for an Economy seat from Singapore to North Asia or wait till you have earned 6,500 more miles for a Business Class redemption to North Asia. If you hold Gold status with Alaska airlines, your total goes up to 26,500 miles!
