Is this a good promo to buy Hilton points?

Unlike other hotel loyalty programs, Hilton Honors has been very consistent with its points sales.

  • Price per point has consistently been 0.5 cents in various offers in the past 5 years
  • 0.5 cents per point is the best that Hilton Honors has ever offered
  • The minimum number of points required to activate the offers are usually very low (~10,000 points)

Best uses of Hilton points

As Hilton Honors adopts dynamic pricing for award stays, it isn’t easy to predict how award prices would fluctuate. However, you can view the property’s usual or lowest award rates through a calendar view by doing a flexible search on hilton.com (desktop only).

Here are some examples of good award redemptions:

  • Conrad Koh Samui: From 100k points
  • Conrad Bora Bora: From 120k points
  • Conrad Maldives: From 140k points
  • Waldorf Astoria Maldives: 200k points

Things to consider before buying Hilton points

Because of how consistent Hilton Honors’ points sales are, there is absolutely no need to purchase these points if you do not plan to use them in the next few months.
