  • Air Canada’s Frequent Flyer Program (FFP) is called Aeroplan
  • Aeroplan calls its miles/points currency Points
  • Aeroplan points can be used to redeem for flights on great airlines like:

  • Members can check award availability and book on aircanada.com (Tip: search faster with seats.aero)
  • Aeroplan members can usually buy points for 3.75 cents (CAD)* each, before any bonuses or discounts
  • Aeroplan points do not expire, as long as there is account activity (buying points counts) at least once every 18 months (1.5 years)
  • Members can purchase up to 1,000,000 points per calendar year before any bonuses, but keep in mind that each transaction is limited to 250,000 or 500,000 points (pre-bonus)
  • Members can find mixed cabin/airline routes easily on aircanada.com
  • Members can add a stopover to their award itinerary with an additional 5,000 points each way (subject to the award rate for the entire route)
  • Aeroplan points promotions typically start at 12.01am Newfoundland Time and end at 11.59pm Pacific Time (UTC-7 in Northern summer, UTC-8 in winter)

No, you will not receive bonus points when paying with these cards.

UOB Lady’s:
As this is not a Travel spending, cardholders will not receive bonus points if the Travel category (or any other category) is selected.

HSBC Revolution:

DBS Woman’s World:
