Unlike the earlier short-haul promo that rewarded clocking more sectors, this round is simpler: a one-way redemption earns a 10% rebate, while a round-trip redemption earns 15%. So round-trip bookings offer better value here.
Is this a good deal?
The previous short-haul version of this promo offered up to 30% rebate, while this long-haul one caps at 15%.
That said, the rebate applies to pricier long-haul redemptions, so 15% back can add up to a meaningful chunk of miles. Hitting the 80,000-mile threshold for the extra 2,000-mile rebate is also easy on a round-trip long-haul redemption.
However, note that only Economy (and Premium Economy on the Americas routes) is eligible, so Business and First class redemptions do not qualify for this promo.

- This offer is valid from 26 June 2026 00:00 HKT (GMT+8) to 09 July 2026 23:59 HKT (GMT +8) (“Redemption Period”).
- Member must register for this campaign through dedicated registration page on or before 09 July 2026 23:59 HKT (GMT+8).
- This offer is applicable for all Cathay members who joined on or before 23 June 2026.
- This offer is applicable on selected Cathay Pacific marketed and operated flights: all flights between Hong Kong and below destinations:
- Americas: Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Toronto, Vancouver

- Any subsequent ticket changes shall refer to the flight award redemption rules, ticket related service fees may apply, and subject to standard award seat availability at the time of making the request.
- In case member made any changes to the ticket, which eligible tickets that are rebooked, reissued and no longer comply with the promotion requirements, member will not be entitled to earn or retain the rebate miles under this offer.
