Full list of Spontaneous Escapes routes (July 2026)
Here’s the complete list of Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes routes available to book by the end of this month, for travel the following month.
These are regional routes to/from cities in Southeast Asia, covering Zones 2 and 3 in KrisFlyer’s award chart.
Due to the short flight distances and competitive cash fares from other airlines, these routes typically do not offer great value for your miles, even with a 30% award discount.

These are routes to/from cities in North/East Asia, covering Zones 4, 5 and 7 in KrisFlyer’s award chart. This includes cities in Japan, South Korea, Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
As compared to other FFPs, KrisFlyer does not offer great award rates to/from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong, even with a 30% award discount.
However, flights to/from Mainland China come with fantastic value and I see them as KrisFlyer’s sweet spots (marked in green below).

These are routes to/from cities in Europe, covering Zone 11 in KrisFlyer’s award chart. This includes cities in United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and more.
As compared to other FFPs, KrisFlyer does not offer good award rates to/from Europe, even with a 30% award discount.
💡 Pro tip: Most of the time, these routes are bookable hours before the official list is released. These routes are often shared by members of Suitesmile Chat Telegram group.

Spontaneous Escapes rules & restrictions
Here are the key rules and points to note when making a Spontaneous Escapes booking:
Only Singapore Airlines-operated flights are eligible
Promo award rates are only available online, via Singapore Airlines’ website or mobile app
Promo award rates are released in limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis
Tickets cannot be changed or cancelled
Award discounts apply only to Saver rates
Blackout dates apply, as shown in the tables above
Can you cancel an existing award booking, then book this Spontaneous Escapes deal?
If you already have a confirmed KrisFlyer award booking and found lower rates through Spontaneous Escapes, you can cancel the existing booking and pay the following miles redeposit fee, depending on your award type:
Saver booking: US$75
Advantage booking: US$50
Miles from the previous booking will then be returned to your KrisFlyer account (usually instantly) and the previously-paid taxes/fees will be refunded to the card that was previously used for payment (this can take a few weeks). Not sure about your existing booking type? Chat with a Singapore Airlines representative here.
✍️ It’s recommended to book the Spontaneous Escapes flight first, before doing the cancellation, in case availability runs out. Be sure to have enough miles in your balance for the new booking!

Suitesmile rating:
✍️ Short summary
This card gives you a strong earn rate of 4 miles per dollar on two categories:
Overseas (incl. online in foreign currencies)
Local Contactless (e.g. PayWave, Google Pay, Apple Pay), SimplyGo (bus/mrt), Fuel (excl. SPC, Shell)
To receive the bonus earn rate, a minimum spending of S$1,000 per statement month is required on that particular category, with a category cap of S$1,200 in the same period. You may also enjoy the bonus earn rate on just 1 category in any statement period.
These categories offers broad coverage on spendings like shopping (in-person and online), foreign currency (in-person and online), dining, groceries, flights, hotels, food delivery and ride-hailing.
However, the huge catch is the minimum spending amount that has to be met on that particular bonus category (not general card spend like other cards). For example, if you want to earn 4 mpd on foreign currency spending, you have to spend at least S$1,000 per statement month on foreign currencies.
All other spending earn just 0.4 mpd (uncapped).

OCBC Rewards Card
Suitesmile rating:
✍️ Short summary
This card gives you a strong earn rate of 4 miles per dollar on online and in-person shopping at places with specific merchant categories (mainly clothing/shoes, toys, duty free, luggage etc.), up to S$1,000 per calendar month, with no minimum spending requirement.
Cardholders will only earn 0.4 mpd on other spending.
At the moment, OCBC only has 2 transfer partners with decent transfer ratios; KrisFlyer and Flying Blue. As flexibility is very important in the Miles Game, I recommend maximizing the limits of other 4 mpd cards first, before using this one.
Not into Miles or travel-hacking? Redeem your points for 2.78% cashback instead, on the aforementioned spending categories.
