Other than the straightforward SPC fuel-spending benefit, this is a very difficult card to track and use, to achieve the maximum cashback, due to multiple category caps and minimum spending requirement.

Cardholders with a minimum card spend of S$800 per calendar month can get up to 10% cash rebates on selected categories:

1. Food Delivery & Dining: 10%/5% cash rebate, up to S$206–S$400/month (shared cap)

1. Instant discount: 18% on all Synergy fuels, or 20% on Synergy Supreme+ (RON 98).
2. S$10 rebate: Credited to your card account when you spend exactly S$160 nett on fuel per calendar month. Physical card payment only (no mobile wallet).
3. Smiles points: 1 point per litre, redeemable for fuel vouchers (effective discount of ~1.2%).

Combined, this gives up to 24.2% savings on regular Synergy fuels, or 26.2% on the more-expensive Synergy Supreme+ (RON 98). However, achieving the maximum advertised fuel savings requires spending exactly S$160 nett per calendar month. You’d need to track your monthly Esso spend carefully to fully optimize.
