Best credit card for foreign currency spending

With zero FX fees and 1.5% cashback, Mari Credit Card is now the best fuss-free cashback card for your first S$1,500 of foreign currency spending (overseas or online) monthly. This is a huge benefit, as the majority of Singapore credit cards charge about 3.25% in FX fees on foreign currency spending.

Using a Miles credit card for foreign currency spending? You’ll be paying about 4.75% more (3.25% + 1.5%) than Mari Credit Card holders. As previously discussed, it only makes sense to use credit cards that earn 4 miles per dollar when accounting for a 4.75% opportunity cost.

As a reminder, this card also comes with no annual fee.
