The HSBC Revolution Card, is running a limited-time promotion, offering a bonus earn rate on selected Online Travel and Contactless spending. This is one of the best miles credit cards in Singapore (with a 4 mpd earn rate), but only useful for Online Shopping and Ride-Hailing spending, without this promo.

Earn 4 mpd on Online Travel transactions
From 1 Jul 2025 till 31 Oct 2025 28 Feb 2026 31 Mar 2026, cardholders can receive 10X points per dollar (equivalent to 4 mpd) on selected Online Travel transactions such as flight tickets, hotels, car rental and cruises, as long as they fall under one of the following whitelisted Merchant Category Codes (MCCs).
Cardholders can enjoy this bonus earn rate with no minimum spending requirement, capped at S$1,500 worth of spending per calendar month; that’s a maximum of 6,000 miles per month.
❗ Warning: MCC 4722 (Travel Agencies and Tour Operators) is excluded from this promo, so transactions at Trip.com, Expedia, Klook etc. will not qualify.

This bonus earn rate also comes with no minimum spending, sharing the same monthly cap of S$1,500 per calendar month.

Is this a good promotion?
The HSBC Revolution card went through brutal nerfs in 2024 that took away a lot of reasons to hold one. Without the promo, this card is only good for Online Shopping and Ride-Hailing, and let’s not forget the poor transfer ratio to KrisFlyer (3.33 mpd earn rate at best).
By taking full advantage of this promo and spending a total of S$9,000 over the next 6 months, cardholders can earn a maximum of 36,000 miles, more than enough for a Business Class flight redemption to Japan or South Korea.
With this promo extension, those who are not already using the HSBC Revolution Card can now earn a meaningful amount of miles for their award goals, if they understand the benefits of frequent flyer programs (FFPs) other than KrisFlyer. Just remember that this is still only a temporary benefit with strict whitelisted MCCs.
