AMEX SPC promo

From 15 Jan to 31 Dec 2026, American Express cardholders can get up to 22.2% fuel savings at SPC stations.

To qualify, you’ll need to be an SPC&U member (sign up for free at any SPC station if needed) and save the offer in your AMEX mobile app.

This promo is limited to the:

  • First 5,000 AMEX True Cashback Card
  • First 60,000 other AMEX cards

Each card can receive up to S$120 worth of statement credits throughout the entire promo period. As this cap is based on just 7.1% of additional discount, it translates to S$1,690 of fuel spending (an average of S$141 per month).

✍️ Need a higher cap? Simply sign up for another AMEX card, and once again, save the offer on the AMEX app for that particular card.

Here’s an example of how the savings are calculated for a S$100 gross fuel spending at SPC:

Savings/Total
AMEX cardholderS$5 off
(5% off S$100)
SPC&U memberS$10 off
(10% off S$100)
Saved AMEX SPC OfferS$6.04 off
(7.1% off S$85)
Total
(at the station)
S$78.96
(~21% off S$100)
Bonus: Total if paid with
Amex True Cashback Card
(with 1.5% cashback)
S$77.77
(~22.2% off S$100)

Is this a good promo?

I’ve always seen this AMEX x SPC offer as the least complicated credit card promo for the best fuel savings, so it’s great to see it get extended until the end of the year.

As shared above, AMEX True Cashback cardholders will receive an additional 1.5% cashback for nett savings of just over 22%. Easy, right? No insane hoops and hurdles to navigate through, unlike a lot of other credit card x petrol partnerships.

As a bonus, SPC fuel prices tend to be a little bit cheaper than other fuel stations. So, you could potentially be saving around 23-24% with this AMEX x SPC combo!

Note: If you’re staying near a Sinopec station, you can regularly get 20-23% off fuel and even earn 4 miles per dollar with the right cards. This is a great way to save on fuel.

Best AMEX cards in Singapore

Unfortunately, American Express does not have any must-have miles or cashback cards in Singapore. Presently, I see the AMEX True Cashback as the only decent one for commonly excluded categories like Utilities, Hospitals/Clinics, Insurance and School Fees.

If you need a second or third AMEX card to double/triple your cap for this offer, sign up for those that come with a first-year annual fee waiver.
