Visa Infinite and Visa Signature cards in Singapore
Singapore-based travellers should at least aim for the Visa Signature entitlement as there are numerous entry-level cards with this tier (min. annual income of S$30,000).
Here are some Visa Infinite and Visa Signature cards in Singapore:
- Visa Infinite:
- Visa Signature:
*Some UOB PRVI Miles Visa cards (min. annual income of S$30k/yr) fall under the Visa Infinite card tier, as reported in Suitesmile Chat telegram group. Check yours here.

Should you continue using Travelgoogoo with a paid plan?
The short answer is no, you probably shouldn’t pay for a Travelgoogoo plan after you’ve utilized the free eSIM entitlement. This is because there are numerous Singapore-based mobile plans with data roaming benefits available for less than what Travelgoogoo is charging.
Of course, the limitation on those mobile plans is their global reach (typically 50+ countries vs Travelgoogoo’s 123+). But even if you’re travelling to a non-mainstream country, you’d likely find cheaper eSIM options on Shopee.
The eSIM data roaming market is really competitive these days, which is probably why we keep seeing companies giving away free plans. Personally, I’d keep this free eSIM handy for unlimited messaging worldwide, in case I need it.

Hi Michael,
This is ongoing as Visa (Infinite, Signature and Platinum) Cardholders based in Asia Pacific are entitled to our Travelgoogoo eSIM as a core benefit of their card. The link http://www.travelgoogoo.com/Visa still works.

May I confirm the unlimited messaging include voice/video and photo sharing without consuming the high speed data?
In the Travelgoogoo website, they mentioned “Unlimited messaging all year – send messages, share photos and make calls”. No mention of video sharing though.
My mistake to include video call. I WhatsApp their support and they give different answer stated only text messaging others than that it will consume the high speed data. I’m confuse. Which one is the correct statement.
Hi Johnny,
As default, text messaging is supported without a high speed data plan. For photos, it can be sent via your messaging app, but it might be a little slower than via a high speed data plan.
Thanks for your kind interest!

Hi Johnny,
Thank you for your interest in Travelgoogoo!
The Travelgoogoo global eSIM allows you Always-On internet access for messaging connectivity in over 123 countries all year. This means that, when you land at one of these destinations, your internet access is already on.
This is for you to be able to send text messages and some photo sending with your favourite messaging apps – e.g. WhatsApp, Wechat, LINE, Telegram, Zalo, Messenger etc.
For data intensive functions like video streaming, video calls and large downloads, it is recommended to purchase high speed data plans (at member prices). This can be done online or via the customer service WhatsApp channel.

What’s the latest day to activate the eSIM and how long is the data valid after activation?
Hi Sebastian,
You can activate the eSIM anytime you wish, and it will be valid ALL YEAR ROUND. This eSIM is literally the last eSIM you need to buy if you travel within our current network of 123+ countries.
If you wish to boost your high speed data plans, you will have a WhatsApp customer service channel where you can buy the data plans easily. And typically, a purchased data plan will remain valid for 30 days AFTER initial activation.

Hi Stephen, I appreciate you replying. However, it is still all but clear to me. I have already requested my eSIM on Travelgoogoo using the VISA cardholder promo.
– How long do I have to install the eSIM on my phone?
– After installing the eSIM on my phone and activating it, how long do I have to use up my 1GB global and 1GB Asia Pacific data?
Hi Sebastian,
Thanks for your reply.
Given that the eSIM is valid for a year, you can install it at your convenience, although I would recommend installing it at the earliest opportunity. Do remember that you will no longer need to install any other eSIM for a year when travelling at any of the 123+ countries.
Generally, our data usage prioritises country then region then global usage.
This means if you have 1GB Asia Pacific and 1GB Global, then your Asia Pacific data will be used first (if you travel within Asia Pacific) and then your Global data will automatically kick in thereafter.
Generally, activation takes plans when you “first use” a plan. Then you have 30 days to consume that plan.
However, if you haven’t started using any plan, it remains in your account until you start using it.
Note that this isn’t a promotion. This is a core benefit of all Asia Pacific issued Visa Infinite, Signature and Platinum cards (like for Airline lounge access or Airport limo transfers).
Best regards,
Stephen Tan
