What counts as a ‘stay’?
A ‘stay’ is defined as one or more consecutive nights spent at the same hotel.
There seems to be a lot of confusion among travellers who are new to hotel loyalty programs, so, allow me to share some examples that should clear all your doubts:
Example 1: Making 2 bookings at the same hotel, with back-to-back dates
You booked a 1-night stay at Hotel A and decided to extend the stay by booking another 1-night stay. As the nights spent in the same hotel are consecutive, it will only count as 1 stay, even if you physically check out and check back in a few hours later.
Example 2: Making 2 bookings at the different hotels, with back-to-back dates
You booked a 1-night stay at Hotel A. Immediately after checking out from Hotel A, you then decided to book a night at Hotel B. As you are not spending consecutive nights in the same hotel, it will count as 2 stays.
Example 3: Making 2 bookings at the same hotel, without back-to-back dates
You booked a 1-night stay at Hotel A on 1st June and checked out on 2nd June. You then booked another stay in the same hotel on 3rd June and checked out on 4th June. As the nights in the same hotel are not consecutive (you slept elsewhere on the night of 2nd June), it will count as 2 stays.
Example 4: Making 2 bookings at different hotels, on the same night
You booked a 1-night stay at Hotel A on 1st June, and made another booking at Hotel B on the same day. As there is no way that a member can sleep in 2 beds at the same time, the system will automatically count your bookings as 1 stay.
Is this a good promotion?
Fixed-points promotions like these are more rewarding on cheaper and shorter stays, as the amount of bonus points are applied on a per-stay basis, regardless of how much you spend and the number of nights at the property.
Due to ever-increasing award rates across most Hilton properties, I value Hilton points at just 0.3 cents (USD) each. At this valuation, I’d receive US$6 worth of bonus points on my Hilton stays during this promo period.

Offer valid for stays completed January 15 – April 30, 2026 (“promotion period”) at any hotel or resort within the Hilton Portfolio. Hilton Honors™ members must first register at HiltonHonors.com/PointsUnlimited prior to completing a stay within the promotion period.
Registered Hilton Honors members will earn 2,000 Bonus Points per stay during the promotion period.
Registered Hilton Honors members checking in before January 15, 2026, will receive Bonus Points for their stay if the stay is completed on or after January 15, 2026, and prior to or on April 30, 2026.
There is no limit to the total number of Bonus Points that may be earned during the promotion period with this offer. However, there are restrictions on the number of Base Points that can be earned on a single stay at certain brands.

Who is eligible for this offer?
All employees or travelers associated with a HWS account that has a designated B2B Fast Track offer in place and a valid company email domain are eligible to register.
When should I register for the Fast Track offer?
After registering for Fast Track, the traveler has 90 days to complete night requirements, so Members should register for the offer when they know they have upcoming travel within a 90 day period. Nights are only counted after the Member registers and must be completed by the end of the promotion period.
Will my status be downgraded if I sign up for an instant offer below my current status?
Members who sign up for an instant offer that is below their current status, (ie. Gold member signs up for an instant Silver promotion) will NOT have their status downgraded. The benefit of their registration is that if their status was set to expire, the Fast Track allows them the opportunity to extend their status to the following year if they meet the night requirements.
What if I already have the status offered by the Fast Track?
Participating in this offer could extend the Member’s status for an additional year if the criteria are met, per the offer’s terms and conditions.
How will I know if I qualified for upgraded status?
Members registered for this promotion can view account details for status change upon completing night criteria online at HiltonHonors.com. Additionally, if earning a new status, the Member will receive an automated email.
I am not a Hilton Honors member; can I participate in this promotion?
This is an exclusive offer and only eligible Hilton Honors members can participate. You can join the Hilton Honors program for free by enrolling on the left side of the Fast Track landing page.
What if I am already a Hilton Honors member?
Current Hilton Honors Members must register for the company-specific Fast Track offer to be eligible to earn Elite Status faster. Being a Hilton Honors member does not automatically register the traveler for the offer.
Can I register for multiple Fast Track promotions?
No, Members can only register and participate in one Fast Track promotion per year.
I registered for a Fast Track offer and do not see my progress via the app or on HiltonHonors.com. Where can my I find it?
At this time, Members cannot track their Fast Track progression via the App or HiltonHonors.com. To find out progress, the traveler should reach out to [email protected]
If I recently stayed at a Hilton before registering for the Fast Track offer, how can I get credit for those previous stays?
You cannot retroactively add stays and count those towards Fast Track progress. Only stays and nights completed after registering for the Fast Track and before the end of the promotion period count toward night requirements.
Do nights apply to all Hilton hotels or just specific brands?
The nights apply to all hotels within the Hilton portfolio globally.
How long will my new status be valid?
Once the Member has reached a certain Elite tier, the Member may keep such status for the calendar year in which the Elite tier was earned as well as the subsequent calendar year.
