Cathay Pacific Asia Miles is running a new targeted promotion for members residing outside Hong Kong.
By completing up to 6 “missions”, members can earn a maximum of 5,700 bonus miles, which I value at S$85.
To receive the bonus miles, registration is required and the mission(s) have to be completed by 31 Jan 2026. Members can complete them in any order and do not have to complete every one of them (receive bonus miles only for the missions you’ve completed). Bonus miles will be credited into your account by 31 Mar 2026.
Note: If you’re earning miles to fulfill the requirements of any mission(s) below, they have to be credited into your account by 28 Feb 2026.

Mission 1: Complete 1 miles transaction
Reward: 500 Asia Miles (worth S$7.50)
Mission 1 is pretty straightforward, earn or redeem any amount of Asia Miles and you’ll be rewarded with 500 bonus miles.
Converting credit card miles/points to Asia Miles counts.
Mission 2: Complete miles transactions in 2 categories
Reward: 1,000 Asia Miles (worth S$15)
Mission 2 is basically an expansion of Mission 1. Earn or redeem any amount of Asia Miles in 2 categories, and you’ll be rewarded with a further 1,000 bonus miles.

Mission 3: Earn 20,000 miles or more
Reward: 2,000 Asia Miles (worth S$30)
For this mission, members who earn at least 20,000 Asia Miles in any category will be rewarded with 2,000 bonus miles.
The easiest way to do this is, of course, by converting credit card miles/points to Asia Miles. Remember the general rule of thumb though: ONLY convert miles/points if you have plans to use them in the near future.

Mission 4: Redeem 15,000 miles or more
Reward: 2,000 Asia Miles (worth S$30)
In Mission 4, members who redeem at least 15,000 Asia Miles in any category will be rewarded with 2,000 bonus miles.
As always, the best way to redeem Asia Miles is for flights.
Asia Miles are generally best redeemed for Cathay Pacific-operated flights to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mainland China and Europe, in any cabin class.

Mission 5: Check in on Asia Miles app

The reward for the final 2 missions are a lot less enticing, so don’t feel bad about skipping both of them.
Members who “check in” on the Asia Miles app on or after 18 Dec 2025 will receive 100 bonus miles.
Mission 6: Subscribe to Cathay communications

In Mission 6, members who opt in to all Cathay Pacific communications will receive 100 bonus miles. You can do this through the communication preference in your account.
Promo terms and conditions
Here are the terms and conditions of the Cathay Pacific Rewards in the Air promo:
1. By completing the registration process, you will be automatically enrolled in our Rewards in the Air campaign and agree to its terms and conditions.
2. This offer is available to all Cathay members who reside outside of Hong Kong and have directly received the offer issued by Cathay Pacific Airways Limited. The offer is non-transferable.
3. This offer is applicable between 11 December 2025 and 31 January 2026 (Hong Kong Time, GMT+8), both dates inclusive (the “promotion period”).
4. Eligible members will receive a registration confirmation email within 7 working days after submitting the registration.
5. To participate in this promotion, members must register and make transactions using regular miles earned or spent with eligible partners (“eligible transactions”) during the promotion period.
6. Members are only entitled to bonus miles once per mission during the promotion period.
Mission 1: Members will receive a one-off bonus 500 Asia Miles upon completing one eligible miles-earning or miles redemption transaction.
Mission 2: Members will receive a one-off bonus 1,000 Asia Miles upon completing eligible miles-earning or miles redemption transactions across two or more categories.
Mission 3: Members will receive a one-off bonus 2,000 Asia Miles upon accumulated earnings of 20,000 or more eligible miles.
Mission 4: Members will receive a one-off bonus 3,000 Asia Miles upon completing eligible miles redemption transactions of 20,000 or more.
Mission 5: Members will receive a one-off bonus of 100 Asia Miles upon successfully completing the “check-in mission” on the Asia Miles by Cathay app.
Mission 6: Members will receive a one-off bonus of 100 Asia Miles upon opting in to all Cathay communications channels via their member profile. To ensure eligibility, please remain opted in until the bonus miles credit date, by 31 March 2026.
7. Eligible transactions must be completed within the promotion period.
8. The accumulated miles from these eligible transactions must be credited to the member’s account on or before 28 February 2026. The crediting period for earned miles will vary among partners.
9. Bonus miles will be credited to the successfully registered member’s account by 31 March 2026 at the latest.
10. Eligible members shall notify Cathay Pacific Airways Limited by 30 April 2026 if they do not receive the Bonus Miles; otherwise, Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and Asia Miles Limited accept no liability and will not be liable for any compensation.
11. Cathay Pacific Airways Limited reserves the right to alter or terminate the promotion and amend the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
