2% cashback on foreign currency spending
From 12 Nov 2025 till 6 Jan 2026, YouTrip cardholders can receive 2% cashback on foreign currency spending if they spend a minimum of S$1,200 (SGD equivalent) throughout the 56-day promo period.
Qualifying transactions should include both overseas in-person and non-SGD online spending.
Cashback is capped at S$30 (S$1,500 worth of spending) and is limited to the first 2,500 YouTrip cardholders who meet the minimum spending requirement. Cashback will be credited to eligible cardholders’ YouTrip wallets by 6 Feb 2026.

What is YouTrip Card good for?
The YouTrip Card is best used for free overseas ATM cash withdrawals and to enjoy zero foreign transaction fees (with great exchange rates). However, unlike credit cards, YouTrip cardholders can’t usually earn rewards like cashback or miles on their spending, unless if there’s a promotion like the one shared in this page.
As a debit card, it has no income requirement, making it great for students and retirees.

Is this better than using Miles cards?
Most Singapore credit card providers charge 3.25% in foreign currency junk fees. By ignoring this promo (to earn 2% cashback with zero FX fees), your opportunity cost stands at around 5.25%.
Personally, it doesn’t make sense to pay over 1.5 cents per mile on purchases, especially when I can regularly buy as many miles as I want for around the same price.
Of course, this comparison is only relevant if you’re spending between S$1,200 and S$1,500 in foreign currencies between 12 Nov 2025 and 6 Jan 2026, and you’re among the first 2,500 YouTrip users to meet the minimum spending requirement.

Promo terms and conditions
Here are the terms and conditions of this YouTrip promo:
The YouTrip 100 Free Hotel Stays and 2% Cashback Spend Campaign (“Promotion”) is run by You Technologies Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“YouTrip”) and is subject to these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”).
- Promotion Period
- The Promotion will be valid from 12 November 2025 to 6 January 2026 (“Promotion Period”).
- The Rewards (as defined below) will be credited and awarded by 6 February 2026.
- Eligibility
- The Promotion is open to YouTrip account holders.
- To participate for the Promotion, a YouTrip account holder must fulfil the following conditions during the Promotion Period:
- Sign up for the Promotion by tapping on the Promo banner displayed on their YouTrip app homepage, and clicking the ‘Join now’ button (“Participant”); and
- Make a minimum cumulative spend of S$1,200 in retail transactions in foreign currency equivalent using their YouTrip card (“Qualifying Transactions”).
- Each Participant who fulfils the condition in Clause 2.2 above shall be deemed to be an “Eligible Awardee”.
- For the avoidance of doubt, employees of YouTrip and its affiliates are not eligible to receive any Rewards under this Promotion.
- YouTrip reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any person from participating in the Promotion.
- Rewards
- Each Eligible Awardee is eligible for one or both of the following Rewards under the Promotion:
- 2% Cashback Reward
- Receive 2% cashback on their total Qualifying Transactions, capped at S$30.
- Limited to the first 2,500 Eligible Awardees on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the timestamp of when the Eligible Awardee fulfils Clause 2.2 above.
- 100 Free Hotel Stays Giveaway (worth S$600)
- Receive a free hotel stay voucher worth S$600 from Trip.com (“Giveaway Winner”).
- Limited to 100 winners who will be randomly selected from the pool of Eligible Awardees.
- 2% Cashback Reward
- For the avoidance of doubt, any transactions made with the following Merchant Category Codes (“MCC”) shall not count towards the Qualifying Transactions and shall not be eligible for Rewards:
- 6300: Insurance Sales, Underwriting and Premiums
- 6381: Insurance – Premiums
- 3429: Insurance Rent-A-Car
- 5960: Direct Marketing Insurance Services
- Transactions that are refunded, reversed, cancelled or otherwise invalidated will not count toward the minimum spend for the Rewards.
- The Cashback Reward will be credited to the Eligible Awardee’s YouTrip wallet by 6 February 2026.
- The Giveaway Winners will be determined by 6 February 2026, and notified via email for prize verification and collection.
- If a Giveaway Winner does not respond by the stipulated deadline in our notification email, the Giveaway Winner is deemed to have forfeited the prize and has irrevocably relinquished and waived all rights to claim it.
- YouTrip reserves all rights to manage unclaimed Rewards and shall not be obliged to select replacement winners for the unclaimed Rewards.
- Each Eligible Awardee is eligible for one or both of the following Rewards under the Promotion:
- No Fraud or Violation of Terms
- YouTrip reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any claims by an Eligible Awardee in the case of any fraudulent, dishonest, or inappropriate conduct.
- Such conduct includes but is not limited to: the use of false or duplicate identities, automation or bot use, misrepresentation of default card status, or any other malicious activity.
- YouTrip, its affiliates, and representatives will never ask you to provide one-time passwords or your full YouTrip card number. For verification purposes, we may request your Y-number, which cannot be used for transactions.
- No Refunds and Rights to Clawback
- All Rewards granted under this Promotion are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable under any circumstances.
- YouTrip reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject, deduct, or claw back any Rewards granted or to be granted to an Eligible Awardee, including by debiting the Eligible Awardee’s account balance, where the Rewards were awarded due to any breach of these T&Cs or any fraudulent, dishonest, or inappropriate conduct.
- Change of Terms and Termination
- YouTrip may, at its sole discretion, revise any of these T&Cs or terminate this Promotion at any time without prior notification.
- Acceptance of Terms
- By participating in this Promotion, the Participant shall be deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to these T&Cs.
- The Participant shall also be deemed to have agreed to receive communications from YouTrip via email, phone, SMS, and app notifications in accordance with our Privacy Policy at www.you.co, and agreed to the General Terms and Conditions of YouTrip as disclosed on www.you.co.
- Governing Law
- These T&Cs shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
