DBS yuu Card has announced upcoming changes to the card which will come into effect from 1 October 2025.
Offering up to 18% cash rebate at selected merchants, this card is listed is Suitesmile list of the best Cashback credit cards in Singapore.
Minimum spending hiked to S$800/month
From 1 October 2025, cardholders can continue to earn up to 18% cash rebate (or 10 miles per dollar) on the DBS yuu card, but with a higher minimum spending requirement of S$800 per calendar month (up from S$600).
Along with the above nerf, the bonus cap will also be increased to S$144, up from S$78. This translates to an S$800 monthly cap. This is good news to those who spend over S$600/month at yuu merchants.
SimplyGo added as bonus merchant
Also from 1 October 2025, DBS yuu cardholders can earn up to 18% cash rebate on Public Transportation in Singapore when the abovementioned minimum spending is met. This covers public bus, MRT and LRT rides.

Spend at min. 4 merchants to get bonus cash rebate
Also from 1 October 2025, DBS yuu cardholders will need to spend at 4 different participating yuu merchants every calendar month to qualify for 18% cash rebate.
No bonus at Mandai Wildlife Group for AMEX version
Also from 1 October 2025, DBS yuu AMEX cardholders will no longer be able to earn 18% cash rebate at Mandai Wildlife Group; earn rate will be revised to just 0.5% cash rebate.
DBS yuu Visa cardholders can continue to enjoy 18% cash rebate at Mandai Wildlife Group.
Lower cash rebate at non-yuu merchants
Also from 1 October 2025, rewards at non-yuu merchants will drop from 0.5% to 0.25% cash rebate.

How can I earn 18% cash rebates from 1 Oct 2025?
From 1 Oct 2025 onwards, you can continue to earn 5% cash rebates with no minimum spend. To qualify for the additional 13% cash rebates each calendar month, you must:
- Spend a minimum of S$800 eligible card spend, and
- Transact at 4 different Participating Merchants (including SimplyGo).
How are the number of Participating Merchants counted?
Each calendar month, you will need to transact at 4 different Participating Merchants. Each Participating Merchant is defined in the table below.

How is the overall rewards cap calculated and when will my cash rebates be awarded?

If you did not meet the Qualifying Spend Criteria for Bonus Rewards (with min. spend), you will get 5% cash rebates on yuu Merchant Spend and SimplyGo, capped at S$144.
What happens if I transacted at 4 different Participating Merchants but did not meet the minimum spend of S$800 per calendar month?

How can I get the new DBS yuu Card design?
For new cardmembers, you will receive the new DBS yuu Card design when you apply for it from 25 June 2025.
For existing cardmembers, you can continue to use your existing DBS yuu Card. The new card will be issued when your card is replaced or renewed. However, if you would like to receive the new design earlier, you can request a card replacement via digibank Mobile starting 25 June 2025.
Can I still use my existing DBS yuu Card?
Yes, you will still be able to use your existing DBS yuu Card until it expires. There will be no changes to the features and benefits of the DBS yuu Card.
