Since the program refresh back in 2021, redeeming Discovery Dollars (D$) hasn’t been an entirely smooth experience. Members could only make a redemption in-person, upon check out. In my experience, this often lead to delays in the check out process, and I had to actively remind the front desk to process it before my time to leave.
After the lengthy test in 2024, we now have an expanded trial. From July 2025, GHA Discovery members can redeem Discovery Dollars online or in app, when booking a stay at more participating properties (see below).
How to redeem Discovery Dollars online
Follow these steps to redeem Discover Dollars online or in the app:
- Check if you’re staying in a participating property (see below)
- Check the box to redeem your Discovery Dollars
- Select the amount to redeem (min. D$10)

As a reminder, GHA Discovery members can currently earn a bonus D$5 on every app booking and a bonus D$30 on stays at Anantara, Avani, NH and Oaks hotels.

GHA Discovery members can now redeem Discovery Dollars online or in app, at the time of booking, at 241 properties (from a worldwide total of 850+). That’s about 28% of GHA Discovery’s tiny global footprint.
