UOB Lady’s Solitaire Card has announced two new monthly caps on bonus miles that can be earned on the card.
Note: This change only affects the UOB Lady’s Solitaire card. The other 3 versions (UOB Lady’s Debit, UOB Lady’s and UOB Lady’s Solitaire Metal cards) are not affected.
Key features of the UOB Lady’s Solitaire Card
Before we look at the changes, here’s a quick recap on the key existing features of the UOB Lady’s Solitaire card:
- Min. annual income: S$120,000
- Annual fee: S$414.20
- Key benefit: Earn 4 mpd on two chosen bonus categories, capped with a combined total of S$2,000 per calendar month (changing soon)
- Bonus categories to choose from:
- Beauty & Wellness (e.g. cosmetic stores, hair salons, spas)
- Fashion (e.g. clothing, shoes stores)
- Dining (e.g. restaurants, food delivery)
- Family (e.g. supermarkets, children clothing stores)
- Travel (e.g. flights, hotels, duty-free stores)
- Transport (e.g. public transport, taxi, petrol)
- Entertainment (e.g. bars, night clubs, cinemas)

What’s changing?
From 1 Aug 2025, UOB Lady’s Solitaire cardholders will have a lower monthly cap of S$1,500 (from S$2,000) to earn 4 miles per dollar on their two chosen categories.
On top of that, there will be a new category cap of just S$750 per calendar month. This would likely hurt cardholders most, especially as it is one of very few Singapore cards with a good earn rate on Flight and Hotel spending. And if you’re using the card only for Travel spending (like me), the lower-tiered version of the Lady’s card will soon be more generous with a S$1,000 cap!
Existing UOB Lady’s Solitaire cardholders may “downgrade” to the Lady’s card by contacting UOB.
