Is this a good deal?

This is the third time that KrisFlyer is running a global award sale. For comparison’s sake, here’s what was offered during the previous 2 iterations:

  • Oct 2023: 25% off all Economy, some Premium Economy
  • Sep 2024: 25% off all Economy, some Premium Economy, some Business

The 20% award discount offered during this promo is a little lower, but it’s worth pointing out that the previous sale was only 6 months ago.

All things considered, KrisFlyer miles are generally great for flights to Istanbul, Dubai, Australia, NZ, India and North China; and bad for flights to Japan, South Korea and Europe.
