Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles went through a brutal devaluation in 2024, making the Frequent Flyer Program (FFP) near-useless for travellers based in Singapore.
With this offer, we are once again seeing really attractive award rates on this FFP. However, keep in mind that the savings in miles are partially offset by the higher-than-usual taxes/fees.
Note: While it is possible to fly Turkish Airlines to North and South America, the taxes/fees get quite outrageous for flights to/from those regions (>S$800 each way on Business Class).

Which Singapore bank has Miles&Smiles as a transfer partner?
In Singapore, only miles/points from Citibank cards can be transferred to Miles&Smiles with a good conversion ratio (HSBC has a poor ratio).

How’s award availability?
From my quick searches, there is zero award availability between Singapore and Istanbul (and all of Europe) during the promo period. However, Singapore-based travellers can consider flying to/from regional airports like Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Bangkok, where award availability exists.
There is no award availability issue for flights between Singapore and Melbourne, as well as Central Asia.

All bookings must be completed on the airline’s official website or via the official call centre and sales offices.
Is this a good deal?
The combination of award rates (plus taxes/fees) are pretty awesome, as compared to other FFPs for flights to Europe and Central Asia.
However, be reminded that this is not a straightforward award discount like KrisFlyer’s Spontaneous Escapes. Travellers will need to transfer enough credit card miles/points to Miles&Smiles to cover the full award rate, and receive a 50% rebate within 10 days after the flight.
The issue here is that you will also need to think of what to do with those refunded miles. Turkish Miles expire 3 years after they are credited into your account, FYI.
This is a rare opportunity to fly to/from Europe in Business Class from just 32.5k miles. If the tight promo period works for you, it’s time to start planning your miles/points transfers from your Citibank cards, and make the booking in a few days’ time.

Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles shares the following terms and conditions:
- The offer is valid for award tickets issued between 04/02/2025-16/02/2025, with travel dates between 10/02/2025-23/02/2025.
- The offer is valid on one-way or round trip flights in Economy Class and Business Class across all our network, domestic flights included.
- Within the scope of the campaign, half of the total amount of Miles paid by two passengers will be refunded to the account of the member who issued the award ticket.
- The member who issued the ticket must be on the flight.
- The refunded Miles are not Status Miles.
- The PNR must be created for two and both must fly.
- Miles will be added to the members account within 10 days following the flight.
- Reissued tickets will be out of the scope of the campaign.
- Taxes and additional services paid with Miles are outside the scope of the campaign.
- Miles&Smiles Award Ticket rules apply within the scope of the special offer.
- The related promotion is only valid on scheduled flights operated by Turkish Airlines. It is not valid on Turkish Airlines codeshare flights and Star Alliance partner airline flights.
