HSBC has added a new notice on its credit card rewards pages.

Points transfers will continue to be free

HSBC previously waived points transfer fees till 31 Jan 2025. With this change, it will continue to be free, until HSBC says it’s not.

Poor transfer ratio to KrisFlyer

From 16 Jan 2025, HSBC points will have a poor transfer ratio to KrisFlyer: 30k points for 10k miles (previously 25k to 10k).

HSBC will continue to have many useful transfer partners which are not available to most Singapore cards.
