Hilton Honors has announced its upcoming global promotion that will start immediately after the current one ends.

How many points will you get with a 2X bonus?
Hilton Honors members usually earn points on qualifying spend, excluding taxes/fees.
This comes in the form of Base Points + Status Bonus Points + Promo Bonus Points.
With this promo, every member will receive 10 additional points per US Dollar (2X Base Points).
Here’s the total amount of points that members will receive with each membership level:

Is this a good promotion?
Unlike other hotel loyalty programs like World of Hyatt and Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton Honors tend to run their global promotions back-to-back, which is always great.
Unlike fixed-points offers, 2X offers like this are less exciting, as it awards a fair amount of bonus points, based on what you spend. Yes, this also means that award stays will not count.
Due to ever-increasing award rates across most Hilton properties, I value Hilton points at just 0.3 cents (USD) each. At this valuation, I’d receive about 3% in additional value on my Hilton stays during this promo period; a really weak offer.
But hey, an offer is an offer. While it won’t nudge me to spend more nights in Hilton properties in the coming months, I’m registering anyway, just in case.

Offer valid for stays completed January 1 – April 30, 2025 (“promotion period”) at any hotel or resort within the Hilton Portfolio. Hilton Honors™ members must first register at HiltonHonors.com/DoubleYourStay prior to completing a stay within the promotion period.
Registered Hilton Honors members checking in before January 1, 2025, will receive Bonus Points for their stay if the stay is completed on or after January 1, 2025, and prior to or on April 30, 2025.
Registered Hilton Honors members will earn Double Points per stay during the promotion period. “Double Points” means members will receive Bonus Points equal to the number of Base Points earned during a stay.
There is no limit to the total amount of Bonus Points that may be earned during the promotion period with this offer. However, there are restrictions on the number of Base Points that can be earned on a single stay at certain brands.
