This card is only useful for fuel spending at Esso stations. Here’s how the savings stack up:

1. Instant discount: 18% on all Synergy fuels, or 20% on Synergy Supreme+ (RON 98).
2. S$10 rebate: Credited to your card account when you spend exactly S$160 nett on fuel per calendar month. Physical card payment only (no mobile wallet).
3. Smiles points: 1 point per litre, redeemable for fuel vouchers (effective discount of ~1.2%).

Combined, this gives up to 24.2% savings on regular Synergy fuels, or 26.2% on the more-expensive Synergy Supreme+ (RON 98). However, achieving the maximum advertised fuel savings requires spending exactly S$160 nett per calendar month. You’d need to track your monthly Esso spend carefully to fully optimize.
