Is this a good offer?

The UOB PRVI Miles card is not a great card for foreign currency spending, but this is a good offer, if you’re spending at least S$1,500 on overseas shopping and dining, and have maxed out other better cards.

Even with this offer, there are better cards to use for foreign currency spending in November and December 2024, and these options are not limited to just “shopping” and “dining” spending; hence no need to worry about eligible MCCs.

  1. Amaze + Citi Rewards: Earn 4 mpd (super-flexible miles) + save 1% FX fee on non-Travel spending, up to S$1,000 per statement month
  2. DBS Altitude: Earn 5 mpd (somewhat-flexible miles) on all foreign currency spending, up to S$2,000 per calendar month
