World of Hyatt has announced what looks like the loyalty program’s final offer for the year.

How many points will you get with this offer?
World of Hyatt members earn points for qualifying spend, excluding taxes/fees. 2X or 3X offers basically doubles or triples only your Base points, before any status bonuses.
With this offer, members will receive 5 additional points per US Dollar spent, regardless of status.

Is this a good offer?
Spend-based offers like these are really fair….and boring, as there is no “travel-hacky” way to take advantage of it, unlike a previous one.
Plus, this offer is only valid for stays only in participating hotels, in certain regions of the world, only kicks in from your second stay, and capped at US$4,000 worth of spending.
This is, quite clearly, yet another weak offer from the hotel loyalty program. Actually, I don’t remember one weaker than this. But…an offer is an offer, and I’d register anyway, just in case.
Members can also stack another Hyatt offer that overlaps this one by 8 days, to earn a total of 3x points on selected Hyatt Place and Hyatt House properties.

You must be a member of World of Hyatt in good standing and register for the promotion between September 24 01:00 GMT+8 and November 4, 2024, 23:59 GMT to participate. To join World of Hyatt and to register for the promotion, visit hyatt.com/2xpoints. Only Eligible Stays that begin after registration and are completed between October 7, 2024 and December 20, 2024 (“Promotion Period”) will count towards this promotion. Double Points Offer:
Beginning on your second Eligible Stay after registration and during the Promotion Period, you will receive double points per Eligible Stay at participating Hyatt Hotels & Resorts in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific excluding Greater China. Mr & Mrs Smith hotels are not participating in this promotion. Your first Eligible Stay must be completed at a participating property. A maximum of 20,000 Bonus Points may be earned under this promotion. For a property to be participating in the promotion, it needs to be participating in World of Hyatt at the time of the member’s stay. All points awarded under this promotion are Bonus Points. You will receive five (5) Bonus Points per dollar of Eligible Spend on your Eligible Stay. This is in addition to the five (5) Base Points you would earn as your base earning.
