Finnair will be flying its new Business Class to/from Singapore soon!

Key points to note

  • At the moment, I am seeing the new seats loaded into the system for all flights to/from Singapore from 2 April to 2 July 2022
  • From April 2022, Finnair will operate daily flights to Singapore (up from 4 times a week)
  • Flight AY 131 from Helsinki to Singapore is a VTL flight

Finnair’s new Business Class seat

A few weeks ago, Finnair revealed its new Business Class seat and said that ALL of its Airbus A330 and A350 aircrafts will be updated with this new seat.

How to find a Finnair’s new Business seat

These seats will be gradually installed in its Airbus A330 and A350 aircrafts over the next couple of years.

Finnair operates A350s to/from Singapore.

To check if you will be flying in the new or old seat, here’s what you can do:

  1. Search for a Business Class ticket on finnair.com
  2. Fill up random passenger details
  3. Select seats to view the seat map
  4. If you do not see seats 1A and 1F (see image below), you are looking at the new seat map (with the new Business Class seats)

Cheapest way to fly Finnair’s new Business seat

The absolute cheapest way to fly Finnair’s new Business Class from Singapore is with 70,000 Asia Miles + S$58 in taxes/fees. This is how much it costs to fly one-way to Helsinki, Finland (an 11-hour flight).
