I’ve shared in Suitesmile Chat Telegram group earlier tonight that Marriott Bonvoy has just announced category changes for 2021 that will come into effect from 3 March 2021.

Bottom line

Other than The Westin Surabaya, nothing much is changing. The majority of Marriott properties are awful for points redemptions, even after category drops.
