Review: Plaza Premium First Kuala Lumpur Airport Terminal 1

Opening hours: 10am – 2am
Time of visit: 5.15pm
Occupancy: 0%
Location: Airside. Level 2 near Gate C21
Entry type: Free via Priority Pass from Citibank Prestige Mastercard

There is only one Priority Pass lounge in Terminal 1 of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA1) at the moment. As Malaysia is still not allowing tourism travel into the country, the airport was almost like a ghost town. Most cafes, bars and retail stores were closed while I was there in Nov 2020.

Even the Plaza Premium Lounge was closed! Guests were directed to Plaza Premium First instead. Throughout the 2 hours that I spent in this lounge, I only saw 2 other travellers and cabin crew.

To order food or drinks, I had to scan a QR code on the dining table and place my order through the web page.
