Marriott Bonvoy is running a lovely promotion on selected hotels across the Asia Pacific region to reward healthcare workers. You have to produce a valid healthcare/medical ID upon check-in.
There are only 4 participating hotels in Singapore at the moment, offering between 6 to 40 percent off regular rates. All rates offer free-cancellation up till 24 hours before your stay.

How to book (the smart way)

Next search for a hotel in Singapore with flexible dates. This will show you a calendar view of the hotel’s nightly rates and also which dates have the lowest rate. Note that these are public rates (not discounted healthcare rates).

Once you have picked a date, click on “special rates” and enter the promo code HJH. You will now see the discounted rates for all room types on your selected dates.

As payment will be made at check-out, I recommend using HSBC Revoluton Visa via contactless payment at the hotel. This will give you 4 miles per dollar spent.
Conclusion
For me, The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia falls in the sweet spot. The other 3 are not great deals, especially when these prices are very close to pre-COVID rates. Although The Ritz-Carlton is not a participating member of Marriott Bonvoy, does not offer complimentary breakfast and will not qualify you for the free night after 2 stays, it is a very good rate if you have an upcoming special occasion to celebrate.
