Important points to note
Only the first 10,000 customers who register via SMS will qualify (instructions below).
There are 2 miles/points cards that qualify. They are Citibank Rewards and Citibank PremierMiles.
If you have both cards, you can register both cards to enjoy both bonuses.
Registration is free.
There is no minimum spending.
You will only receive bonus points/miles on the first $1,000 spending throughout the whole promotional period.
Bonus points/miles will be credited to your card within 2 months from the end of the promotional period.

Spending at these stores usually earns you 10X points, which is equivalent to 4 MPD. You will receive an additional 4 MPD during this period for a total of 8 MPD.

Conclusion
This is a solid deal. If you max out the $1,000 spending with both cards on Category A, you will be looking at an additional 6,800 miles at the end of this promotional period.

What’s the best way to get the 8mpd for Citi Rewards? Tried searching online and it seems that one of the easiest way is to buy Cold Storage Vouchers from Lazada. However, my family dont usually shop at Cold Storage as the things there are slightly more expensive. We seldom do food delivery now, so they are all out. Guardian and Watsons Online are out too.
Are there any other ways quickly hit the 1k spending from Qoo10, Shopee or Lazada?

There is no minimum spend for this promotion. I do not really see a point of maxing out the $1,000 spend if you really got nothing useful to buy. However, if you can get some groceries from iHerb, stacking shopback and promo code gives you a lovely 7% + 10% + 8MPD.
